In the 6th inning the Dodgers got ahead (2-0) with a line drive to right field from Juan Uribe that brought Hanley Ramirez home and a groundout from Matt Kemp that drove in a run. The Cardinals responded the next inning with a go ahead 3 run homer from Matt Adams. The rest of the game was scoreless and the Cardinals won the game and the series. Dodgers player Yasiel Puig was benched for game four in favor of Andre Ethier. This was supposed to give the Dodgers "the best chance to win today." Also, Before the sixth inning last night Puig had seven consecutive strikeouts and was in a slump."Obviously I haven't been hitting against St. Louis," Puig said through an interpreter.
